Application: Compressed air and neutral gas distribution networks. Not compatible with medical air networks, flammable gases or silicon-free applications. Material: Modified plastic (PVR). The GIRAIR® system is a lightweight, high impact resistance system with quick and reliable installation methods. Due to its resistance to corrosion and chemical resistance to most compressor oils, GIRAIR® helps maintain the air quality throughout the distribution network. Unaffected by atmospheric agents (humidity, aggressive environment) or condensates, which enables the system to remain airtight and cleanliness of the conveyed air or gas is maintained. The joining method based on solvent cementing, ensures a perfectly airtight network. Exclusively use welding polymer GAFIX and CLEANER+ for preparation phases. The smoothness of the pipe’s inner surface and the design of the fittings allow a full bore passage, resulting in reduced load losses. The system presents an excellent ductile behaviour in case of a mechanical impacts, even at very low temperatures. Should the pipe break under very high impact (>2.5 J/cm2), its ductile structure will prevent it from bursting and from projecting any dangerous splinters. Non-flammable as per Euroclass Bs1d0, the best possible classification for synthetic materials. Eco friendly material, 100% recyclable. Dimensions as per EN 1452, blue colour as per NF A 571.
