The BFPDA was formed in 1989 and is dedicated to improving the performance of
distribution within the fluid power industry. The association is affiliated to
the BFPA and has a common secretariat.This accreditation confirms to our
customers that we have attained the high standards necessary to be granted
membership. There is a published code of professional conduct that we are
required to conform to and we have undertaken to support the manufacturers of
fluid power products by distributing their products, in a professional and
ethical manner.

BCAS is the UK trade association for manufacturers, distributors and end users
of compressed air and vacuum products and services. BCAS actively represents
the interests of members and the compressed air industry to both UK Government,
European and International institutions. This accreditation confirms our
competence and compliance with trade association standards and conduct.

For 16 years, we have achieved continuous compliance to ISO9001. The scope of
our activity is as follows … “Supply of fluid power, industrial, commercial and
agricultural components and associated engineering equipment.” In addition to
this, we have a programme of continuous improvement which we have to prove we

Six years ago we were awarded and have retained annually, the Investors in
People Standard. This award confirms we have developed successful strategies
and have taken effective action to improve the performance of the organisation
through our staff.
